Sailboats are far from being the same and there are a variety of types in use. The basics however still apply to all, as far using the wind and sails to power them, but their unique features offer benefits to suit personal preferences.

The second sails at 34 mph in a direction 220°. Assuming that both boats maintain speed and heading, after 2 hours, how far apart are the boats?
I’m so bad at these questions, what formula can I use to figure this out?

I am a production assistant on a feature film, and I am looking for pictures of boats and people on boats to be used on a set of the film. To be clear, these are pictures the photographer most own: we have to get the rights to the images. We must also get the rights to anyone pictured on the images.
The upside is that the pictures will be featured on a film!
If you have any pictures or you know of any such photographers, let me know ASAP.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a monetary compensation. Just the honor of having the photos in a real film.

Transport Canada has been phasing in licensing requirements over the past ten years and as of September 15, 2009, every Canadian (regardless of age) requires a Pleasure Craft Operator Card to operate a recreational motor powered craft in Canada. The legislation applies to all motor powered boats regardless of horsepower or length as well as jetskiis. Proof of competency is required to operate sailboats that are fitted with an auxilliary motor even under sail and to paddle a pleasure craft fitted with a motor even when the motor is turned off.
