The first incidences of these names coming up around the world in various publications such as magazines, books and other such journals was early in the 20th century. This happened because a lot of rich businessmen and traders started building their very own boats called yachts simply for pleasure and comfort. They were not ordinary yachts which were used for sailing but large, super sized boats. In fact these were not simple boats for the fun of sailing but actual moving homes with all the required facilities that are essential for living comfortably.
